In article the problem of ensuring information and psychological safety of future engineer is considered from a pedagogical position; the existing approaches to a problem of information and psychological safety of the personality are analyzed, their advantages and shortcomings come to light, the concept "culture of information and psychological safety of the personality" is formulated on the basis of system, activity, culturological approaches; the methodology of cultural development of information and psychological safety of future engineer in the course of vocational training is defined.
