Automated control of rotary-kiln process energy efficient

Abstract
Brief description and the overall structure of the rotary-kiln operations is given. Rotary-kiln extremum characteristics are considered. Identification method of rotary-kiln extremum characteristics by using statistical data is proposed. Optimization procedure of it is proposed. The optimization procedure includes: retention of blowing on the trajectory of high-production gradient, motion along the trajectory and reverse motion in case of rotary-kiln efficiency decrease. The procedure contributes to high rotary-kiln productivity and cost minimization. The method of rotary-kilns performance evaluation at partial observability of the rotary-kiln process state is proposed. The proposed method can be used to control the rotary-kilns modes. The overall structure of the rotary-kilns mode control system is considered. The use of the control system allows to solve problems of control, mode parameters stabilization and optimization of rotary-kilns modes.
