Application of architectural approaches in the development of the largest university information system

Abstract
The article discusses the use of an architectural approach to the development of the information system of the organization. The concept of an architectural approach, methodology for developing an enterprise architecture “top-down” and “bottom-up”, identifies the advantages and disadvantages of these approaches. The application of the methodology to the TOGAF enterprise architecture, aimed at achieving the strategic goals with the support of optimized information and communication infrastructure, features the model of application of this model. Established the applicability of the architectural approach to the development of information system of large higher education institution with an extensive branch network.
